Terms & Conditions of Hire
Definitions:
Classic Cruisers / Sydney Hummer Hire also referred to as ‘we’ or ‘us’.
The customer may also be referred to as ‘you’, ‘the client’, ‘them’, ‘party’, or ‘hirer’
Sydney Hummer hire is a division of Classic Cruisers
Acceptance of terms:
Hiring of vehicles from Classic Cruisers constitutes immediate acceptance of these terms & conditions. You are not required to sign a copy to be bound by them.
Smoking, Alcohol & Security:
Strictly no smoking in vehicles. This includes any use of illicit drugs or narcotics.
Alcohol may only be consumed in stretch limousines & not in any sedans or similar. Minors under 18 may not consume alcohol under any circumstances.
Formal hire is alcohol free, this includes BYO. No exceptions.
Our driver may terminate hire, without refund & or remove alcohol where in his/her belief customers are intoxicated or acting in an unruly manner.
Any additional cleaning or damage will be at customers cost.
Some limousines are equipped with recordable security cameras which are in use at all times.
Payment method & cancellation policy:
All bookings made with us will require a valid credit card number for security against the hire. This may be used for payment of any additional charges incurred or for any damage or cleaning fees if applicable.
Deposit is $250 or 40% per vehicle (whichever is greater).
Any cancellation within 24 hrs of booking, will not incur any charges.
Any cancellation after this time must be in writing.
Any cancellation after 24 hrs will incur loss of deposit.
Any cancellation within 60 days of hire will incur 50% of total hire cost.
Any cancellation within 30 days of hire will incur total cost of hire.
These terms may apply individually to each vehicle hired.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse service.
Please note a 2% charge is applicable to all credit card transactions.
Overtime & waiting time:
Waiting time or overtime rates are applied at 15 min increments after first 5 minutes. These are $35 for cars & $55 for limos.
These costs will be charged to your credit card unless alternate arrangements are made
Vehicle pick up times & availability of vehicles:
We will endeavour on our part to always honour requested pick up times. However should our vehicle be delayed for any reason beyond our control, we shall not be held liable for any difficulties or extra costs arising from such delay.
In the unlikely event that the vehicle you booked can not be supplied, all attempts will be made to organize a vehicle of similar vintage & appearance. If not possible then we will attempt to organise another type of vehicle.
Due to the length of some stretch limousines, access to some streets or areas may be restricted. Therefore pick up or drop off at exact desired location may not be achievable.
Safety, belts & children etc:
Your safety is very important to us. For this reason where seat belts are provided, it is compulsory that they are worn.
Our driver cannot give you authority not to wear belts so do not ask.
Children under 2 years of age may not travel in our vehicles as there is no provision for baby seats.
A booster seat may be provided for children over 2 years of age. Please request at time of hire.
Some limousines have smoke machines which may aggravate asthma suffers or similar. Please advise if this is the case to driver. Smoke machine is only used upon request.
Photos:
Acknowledge that any photos taken by Classic Cruisers may be used for future promotion or advertising purposes.
